On 12 June 2026, the seminar entitled “Regional Rule-of-Law Challenges
Facing Chinese Enterprises Going Global: An Interdisciplinary Perspective” was
held at the Hongkou Campus of Shanghai International Studies University. The
event was jointly organizedby the Shanghai Society for Area Studies, the
Regional and Country-Specific Rule of Law Research Association of the Shanghai
Law Society, and SIES. Scholars and experts from multiple disciplines
participated in discussions on the legal and regulatory challenges confronting
